The Original Pancake House
Thank you to all the knitters and crocheters.
Our Christmas day breakfast was a big success. We served over 475 guests. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast and especially enjoyed receiving the beautiful scarves that you all knitted for them.
The tremendous effort put out by all of you was way beyond anything we expected. A total of close to seven hundred scarves were knitted. The scarves that were not given out on Christmas morning were sent to various shelters and organizations that serve the less fortunate populations of our communities. They were so beautiful and well done that some of the volunteers wanted to buy them (not for sale!).
Our special thanks to Kathryn Winsberg, Stacey Rabinovitz and Kathleen Stobie for their help. With out them we would never have achieved such success.
